Alessandro Albanese began his career at a very young age as an Art Director and Video Maker, working in the hardcore music scene and experimenting with guerrilla marketing. In 2005, he launched what is considered one of the first flash mobs ever organized in Italy, marking his debut in unconventional communication.
He later moved to Spain to join LOLA MullenLowe as a creative, before becoming Creative Director at Mosaicoon S.p.A., where he worked on campaigns for brands like Samsung, Fiat, Microsoft and Vileda, contributing to several international Awards, including Most Innovative Company of the Year in Europe (2016).
In 2017, he founded JustMaria, an independent creative video company producing content for film and advertising with global brands such as Red Bull, Ducati, Philip Morris, Kinder, Piaggio, and Banca Mediolanum. With JustMaria, he has earned multiple national and international awards, including gold, silver, and bronze at the ADCE and ADCI Awards, and was the first to win the GENIO di Palermo Award.
In 2023, he launched Megadrago, a film animation company, and co-executive produced Il Baracchino, a series by Lucky Red for Amazon Prime Italy. He also founded Reginelle Sooc Coop, supporting emerging audiovisual talent in Sicily.
Since 2024, he has also taught Art Direction and Commercial Directing at IUAD in Naples.
